Sekai wa、 Utsukushii deshou?

Like quite a few of the animebloggers whose blogs I read, I’ve also not been posting very regularly for a while. School life is piling lots of shit on me, and when I get home it’s like SNSD fanboying + some studying/homework and I have little time for anything else.

[fanboy] Like omg SooYoung and Yuri are gonna be on Unstoppable Marriage on Monday and like I have CCA so I can’t watch it gah gah I need a DVD recorder but I only have a weekend to get one and like why are DVD recorders so expensive and like I don’t even know how to get one to work with StarHub!!!![/fanboy]

And like, my 2 week old Microsoft/Razer Habu’s mousewheel just started squeaking like crazy. It’s giving me a splitting headache and driving me nuts!

Ok anyway, my first round of Prelims are over (well not exactly, but I’m not gonna bother studying for Chinese and English - much) and I finally have a bit more time to make some posts. But about what I have no idea, since I still haven’t been watching any anime. I’m waiting for Odex’s Shana II DVDs (if they ever come out) so I can watch the whole series in good quality. Like why am I supporting Odex?! Well we live in Singapore right, so no choice! Stores only sell Odex anime!

The only anime that I still have interest in are those sequels that aren’t out yet. I think. Namely Marimite 4, Haruhi II and Code Geass II. Someone inform me when they air xD

Anyway I probably won’t have anymore anime related posts until I actually start watching again. That’ll be like uh… 11 months? xD

Must stop wasting time and study for the stupid O Levels… Must get 6 points (or less)!!

I’m sure everyone has heard of Noiji Ito.

Noizi Ito (いとうのいぢ Itō Noiji?, born on August 9, 1977) is a female Japanese manga and game artist from Hyōgo, Japan. She is employed by the H-game maker UNiSONSHIFT and is a part of the circle Fujitsubo-Machine.

Character designer for Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, Shakugan no Shana, Nanatsuiro Drops to name a few. Can’t get much more famous than that.

She also does H-game illustrations. Her most recent one, Alice Parade was just released a short while ago. Is it any good, by the way? XD

I wonder why there are so many female H-game artists like herself and Nanao Naru (sola, ef)…

Well, short post but hey, at least I didn’t Ctrl+C everything lol.

Just watched episode 2 of Haruhi. I can sense Haruhi fever coming back to me soon…

If Odex doesn’t release Haruhi DVD I will go Bankai on their ass! I don’t care if they copy subs or whatever, I will still love them if they sell (relatively) cheap Haruhi!!

P.S. My pageviews have skyrocketed like crazy since last night lol. Odex must be checking up on me already… =x

The first episode of Haruhi by Odex was shown on StarHub’s Channel 56 today. Well to be exact, it is showing. (As of time of writing, it’s about five minutes in)

And guess what. Odex copied a.f.k.’s subs wholesale. Okay, maybe not wholesale. More like very heavily referenced.

I can’t say I wasn’t expecting it though. I’m pretty sure there will be a lot of people ranting about this soon. What excuse will they give this time, I wonder?

I don’t have a problem with it though. If Odex just copied a.f.k.’s subs, it just means that we don’t have to get used to theirs/deal with lousy grammar. The mandarin dubs are pretty bad though. I’m not watching it anymore. XD
