I HATE WARNER MUSIC

warner-sticker.jpg

I just learned something today, and that is to never, ever, try to remove the damn Warner Music sticker on CDs.

Ugh I am feeling so irritated.

I was out today when I saw the 2007 Winter SMTOWN album in a CD store, and was immediately like *omgspazzsmtowndbsksnsdsujuboabuybuy*, so I did.

And I was really happy with it, until I tried to remove the stupid Warner Music sticker. Instead of peeling off like a regular sticker, this one literally FLAKES off. I had to resort to using a ruler to scratch it off flake by flake. And damaging my precious album cover in the process!

Now you’re probably going like ‘If you knew it would damage the cover why’d you still do it?’ Well I just don’t like leaving things halfway done, and a half torn sticker didn’t look very nice either.

Now the top right-hand corner of my album looks like this -_-

Gah why can’t they like, just use a normal sticker?! *fume fume*

Thank god none of my Soshi albums have the bloody sticker on them…

Ugh.

Now I usually download the music and buy the album/CD. I leave the album/CD in its original packaging and just listened to the downloaded music.

Saves you the trouble of having possibly messed up album cases and covers.

Lol. I’d do that too, but I have this thing about audio quality. Even though there’s hardly any discernable difference, I still like things in 320kbps mp3 files =P

Eh, I used to like FLAC too just because I knew it was higher quality. But when hard drive space became a problem, I simply chose 192kbps (usually) because I can’t really notice the difference unless it’s 128 and 192 or below.

Apply zippo over the stickers and soak it there for a couple of minutes before tearing them. Your casing’s surface will be as good as new.

Yea!!! My S.H.E album cover was destroyed bcuz of those irritating stickers…

And I really hate price tags too. It’s always soooo hard to take them off without destroying the surfaces of the products.
