Continued from Day 4, which I posted God-knows-how-long ago.

Anyways Day 5 is more like half a day since the other half I spent in transit to Maihama. In the morning we went to Shinjuku to check out all the hip young fashion shops and the like. Not that I bought anything though.

Dropped by the Kinokuniya Main Store, which has like 9 levels if I remember right. I didn’t notice the lift at first so I took the stairs all the way! After that I felt like kicking myself.
Bought an artbook or two. I saw Imaginary Friends’ artbook there, and flipped through. They are really good! Then I picked up a ‘pose’ book, where they have pictures of nude girls in all sorts of different poses so you can reference when you draw your anime girls. And it turned out that my mom was right beside me xD
She was like ‘Oi!’ and I quickly put it down.
Anyway that’s pretty much all for Day 5, Days 6 & 7 are DisneyLand and DisneySea. Look forward to it!
Kinokuniya is a bookstore right?
9 levels? That’s pretty big..
hehe..busted..
Yep, it’s huge xD
Got all sorts of books.
Pose books are art, so it should be fine. At least, that’s my argument. Still, though, it’s really tough to draw bodies. That’s why they have pose books.
Either way, you should have picked up artbooks from there, since they’re much cheaper and have a larger stock than the stores here in Singapore.
Still, though… 9 levels… That’s nice. I spotted one but didn’t think to go in at that time.
I reckon you dropped by Kinokuniya Forest ? Love the place. :]
Now i know what the Kanji name of Kinokuniya is.
blauereiter - Eh? I’ve never heard of that, sorry xD
LOL took you long enough to post day 5. ahaha that is 1 big Kinokuniya store you got there. XD
chraen bad boy! so anyway, how much was the book? XD
just joking hehe. hmm 9 lvls kinokuniya, cool stuff man!
Wow, 9 stories…
I will cry if i explore that place.
It big for a bookstore
I didn’t stop by Shinjuku for long since it didn’t have any otaku related attractions >_>
