HEY! SAY! JUMP – 「Ultra Music Power」 PV
As if it’s not bad enough that they copied the melody, they even put ‘HEY! SAY!’ all over the chorus.
Apparently the composer was tasked to compose a song based on Ultra Music Power and was given just two days to do it, so he didn’t even change the melody much. The company that Bang Bang Tang is signed with is EMI if I’m not wrong. Lame. Just because weeeek and Ultra Music Power are insanely successful (weeeek sold ~300,000 copies, Ultra Music Power sold ~250,000 copies) doesn’t mean they have to copy it. I wonder if they’ll even get close to that number.
Both weeeek and Ultra Music Power own YES! anyway.

Man i don’t really like bands from taiwan, most of the time they sucks, and i mean its like 95% of the time, just like the 棒棒堂 and the recent Fei Lun Hai…urgh. The song i like in this entry is weeeek, oh btw did i see the guy who acted in “One Litre Of Tears”? Anyway, there are too manny members in Ultra Music Power and most of them are like kids.. Butoukan’s dancing are not very synchronised too haha. But overall, taiwan bands still can’t compete with Japanese bands.
Yup the guy from One Litre of Tears is from NEWS. HEY! SAY! JUMP has 10 members lol. And I totally agree that Taiwan bands can’t compete with Japanese ones too ^^
I think those Taiwanese pop boy bands are just pretty boys with no talent ripping off awesome Japanese artists.
