Tears Infection is – well – really infectious

I can’t stop listening to it until I play it so many times that it gets irritating. But 5 minutes later I play it again.

Tears Infection is the opening to Myself; Yourself, which I just picked up a few days ago. I watched all 7 episodes on that same day. It’s a pretty normal anime, but for some reason I love it. The character designs are beautiful as well. And I’ve been infected by Tears Infection ever since then. It’s a wonderful, upbeat happy song that just refuses to get out of your head.

This song is sung by KAORI, whom I’ve never heard of. After a quick search on Wikipedia and ANN, it turns out that she did seiyuu roles for some H-anime. Somehow I don’t like her as much anymore, lol.

Well anyway, that picture above is from the PV of Tears Infection, which is – in a word – horrible. It has got to be the cheapest-looking and most amateur-ish PV that I’ve seen so far. Therefore, have some pictures from the OP instead, which is awesome.

The animation for the OP is great, especially when they get to the chorus.

All the main characters get together and play in a band!

Already a very awesome part of the song, this animation just makes the chorus even better.

Nanaka! :3

All the girls in Myself; Yourself look pretty much awesome, but Nanaka is still my favourite. I don’t think many people are watching Myself; Yourself, so here’s the OP.

    Actually, Myself;Yourself is supposed to be an bishojo game adaptation… Except that said game isn’t out yet.

    And yes, the art style is great.

    oh i heard this song even though i didn’t watch the anime. its really good, kinda addictive. i understand how u feel when u found out that she did some seiyuu role for H-anime. it sucks to know that an artistes u like actually played role in h-anime. i mean it is ok to sing songs for the anime but as one of the roles…turn-off factor!!

    @Seiryuu

    its tough being a seiyuu in a competitive market so you will have to grab any opportunity you can to survive. To get an idea see the anime “REC” it does reflect some truth about the seiyuu (voice actor) industry

    Nice song btw but the anime might be overshadowed by other anime heavy weights like CLANNAD, Gundam 00 and Shana
