Digital Art Show

Because I have no time to see a real one.

I found this website called Digital Show, where they have quite a lot of artworks up for display. On hindsight I could’ve just gone to deviantArt; since they are about the same and dA has a lot more submisssions (a lot of anime ones as well lol) but I did find some pretty interesting artworks on that website.

This is one of them, called Tai Bull by Tetsushi Sekiya.

Now this has an interesting description. Tai (which is Japanese for Sea Bream) is a symbol for happiness since it sounds like ‘Omedetai’. What you see in the picture is a Taisha (Sea Bream Car) which is believed to be an auspicious talisman because it means ‘Happiness moves forward’.

The description was from the website but it should be accurate. The picture sure looks pretty cool anyway.

This is Twilight Dream by Issay Takamadoka.

Description from the website: ‘This is eternal Twilight town. The town where the dead, specters, the fogotten gather around, talk and reminisce about their old days. A bit creepy but fun, at the same time it’s melancholic too – it’s a requiem for the past. In the twilight, remember when you were a kid and all the people you met. You will hear their laughter.’

If these are written by the artists themselves they have pretty good English for Japanese people lol.

But anyway, you can clearly see the Japanese influences in this picture, from the anime-styled girl to that cat’s face – what’s it called again, a fortune cat or something? I see it shaking one hand up and down all the time in Japanese restaurants. But I can see the western influences as well, all the masked people and such look like they’re from Venice or something.

Digital art is cool. I should see if I can do it for my ‘O’ Levels…

What Ghana has done has, is given every tribe a voice, they have agreed not to fight each other, and for the past seven years have had democratic elections that have all been successful. ,

The low mutability of wild genes was distinctly increased, but the comparatively high mutability occurring with some of the already mutated genes was not, or at any rate was much less, increased. ,
